Schlecht Construction, with offices in Longview and Vancouver, is in the development stages of a state-of-the-art two-story, Class A office building near Sifton that is set to be so environmentally friendly, it was chosen as the prototype for the Bonneville Power Administration’s Energy Smart Design Office program.
Continued growth has led Schlecht Construction to hire two new employees. In early September, the Kelso company announced the addition of Tamara Olson and Bobbi Leider. Olson will serve as a project assistant and Leider as an accounting assistant.
Concrete work has been completed and framing is underway at the site of Catlin Commons, a new office complex in West Kelso. The building will be completed in May 2008, with occupancy slated for July. The project is owned by Catlin Investment Group – a corporation formed by Dr. Ed Laulainen of Three Rivers Eye Care and Windermere realtors Jo Ann Crayne and Sue Lantz. Schlecht Construction is the general contractor.
